The guidance provided below provides a sense of the ACCF President about
those issue areas that the ACCF wishes Federation Committee’s to assess,
investigate, study or pursue and to provide recommendations for the ACCF
membership to consider during the year 2000 to 2001 term of office:

Membership Committee
- Civic Association Workshop -- September 2000
- Membership outreach initiative -- December 2000
- Outreach to under-represented areas -- January 2001
- New Delegate welcome packets and training plan -- November 2000
Transportation Committee
- Closely monitor the status proposals for I-66 -- Ongoing
- Participate in regional transportation planning -- Ongoing
- As a follow up to Neighborhood Traffic Calming, develop initiatives for
long term improvement of arterial and provide recommendations -- January

- Consider and recommend measures for better coordination between County and

Housing Committee
- Review County affordable housing policy and provide recommendations
