Arlington County Civic Federation Meetings
We normally meet from September through June on the first Tuesday of each month.
In November we normally change that to the second Tuesday, since the first Tuesday is usually Election Day. And occasionally a holiday like New Year's Day interferes with the normal schedule.
Anyone is welcome to attend as an observer, but only delegates and alternates are allowed to speak or ask questions.
Here are the 2008-2009 meeting dates and usual programs. They are subject to change, and we frequently add discussion of other items or passage of resolutions. The most current information appears on the Home page and on the Calendar page

The meeting begins at 7:30 pm.
Directions
We meet at the John T. Hazel Conference Center of Arlington Hospital, at 1701 N. George Mason Drive. Here is a map to help get you there.
The nearest Metro stop is at Ballston, about a mile away. There is bus service on George Mason Drive. Here is the link to ART bus routes 51 and 52 that serve the hospital from Ballston metro.
We generally park in the Hospital's visitor lot. Going north, take the first right turn off of George Mason after you cross 16th St. N, then bear right to enter the lot. The attendant is normally gone when we finish our meeting, so you only have to pay if you leave early! If you do plan to leave early, there are sometimes spaces on the street.
Executive Committee
Our Excom meets each month at the Northern Virginia Hospice on 16th Street North between the hospital and Glebe Road. It is on 16th between Buchanan and Abingdon. We meet in the conference room, accessible from the rear door. Meetings begin at 7pm. Here is a map to the Hospice.
For those who drive, the Hospice has a parking lot off N. Abingdon and 15th Street North.
The Hospice is served by the ART 51 bus. Here is the link to ART bus schedule. The Hospice is three blocks from the Custis Trail, using the exit marked Abingdon Street.
