2. Approval of Agenda: Approved unanimously.

3. Approval of Minutes from the March Meeting: Approved.

4. Treasurer's Report: The Treasurer's written report, dated May 1, 2001, shows that 73 of the 75 member organizations have paid their 2000/2001 dues (Langston and Cathcart Springs civic associations have not paid). The report shows the combined Checking and Savings account balance of $3,216.86, with a $0.00 balance in the U.S. Postal Service bulk mail account.

5. President's Report. Jim Pebley talked about upcoming Neighborhood Day on May 12, which will be followed that evening by a Twilight Tattoo at Fort Myer. He also said the theme for the June meeting will be public safety.

6. Committee Reports: Tim Wise of the Nominating Committee asked delegates for suggestions for the 2001/2002 executive committee. Kim Smith of the Public Service Committee reminded delegates to get their surveys completed. Adrienne Pilot mentioned the status of actions on I-66. Finally, Nancy Graham reminded delegates of the upcoming meetings of the Legislative Committee.Patrick Smaldore reported on the executive committee's March meeting.

7. Program: The program included a visit by Representative Jim Moran, followed by Q&A. Then a report on the 2001 General Assembly by members of Arlington's delegation, including Senators Whipple and Ticer and Delegates Almand, Brink and Darner. Finally, there was an informational presentation about Arlington's Extension Service.

8. Unfinished Business. There was no unfinished business.

9. New Business. There was no new business.

10. Adjournment: The meeting adjourned just about about 9:50 p.m.
